My Bio
Bard of the Ancient Celtic Kings

I sang as Chief Bard at the courts of King Urien of Rheged and his son Owain mab Urien.
I was Chief Bard to King Brochfael Ysgithrog of Powys and Cynan Garwyn.

I am old and weary. I have seen too many ills in this earth and under it. I have seen much futile bloodshed in too many futile wars.
Trouble me no longer with the affairs of men; of kings and princes, queens and warriors.
There is only one True High King, the Great Light and only Artúr Pendragon of the Nine Worthies knew him better than I in those days.

That is the way of it wolf.

I am old but the light of my eyes has not ceased burning nor the keen discerning sight of my heart.
For this I am thankful to the Great Light and the Oran Mor which flows from him.

Do not doubt it.

The Minstrel boy to the war is gone, In the ranks of death you'll find him, His father's sword he has girded on, And his wild harp slung behind him "Land of Song!" said the warrior bard, "Tho' all the world betrays thee, One sword at least, thy rights shall guard, One faithful harp shall praise thee!" The Minstrel fell! But the foe man's chain Could not bring his proud soul under, The harp he loved ne'er spoke again, For he tore its chords asunder And said "No chains shall sully thee, Thou soul of love and bravery! Thy songs were made for the pure and free, They shall never sound in slavery!" ----
